An inspiration and mentor to many, Ms. Rokia Afzal Rahman’s life is a shining beacon of women empowerment in Bangladesh. She is currently serving as the President of the Women Entrepreneurs Association and as the President of the Bangladesh Federation of Women Entrepreneurs. BANCAT is privileged to have her as the President.

There are very few people in Bangladesh who have entered the corporate realm and did not hear about Mr. Anis A Khan. A prominent personality in the banking and business arenas for over 39 years, his experience in corporate banking, operations, trade finance, SMEs, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions is outmatched by very few.
At present, besides sharing his knowledge and experience in banking and finance with university students in a teaching role, he is on the boards of several companies and associations, both domestic and overseas. BANCAT is proud to announce his taking the role of Senior Vice President & Director-Governance.

Ms. Sarwat’s commitment towards ensuring the civil rights of all in society is unceasing. Along with serving as the Treasurer within the Executive Committee of the Barristers’ Association of Bangladesh, she is also the General Secretary of the Gulshan Society and General Member of the Law and Order Coordination Committee (LOCC). Having lost her father to cancer, BANCAT is privileged to have Ms. Sarwat Siraj as the Vice President – External Relations.

A powerful role model who is known nationwide as the Managing Director of Rangs Motor, the only female CEO to lead the commercial vehicle industry. BANCAT is honored to have Ms. Sohana Rouf Chowdhury as the Vice President – International Development.

An educationist whose name echoes hope and future for the young generation of Bangladesh, Ms. Sabrina Shaheed is renowned for her role as the Principal of Sir John Wilson School. A sister to cancer a survivor, BANCAT is proud to have the association of Ms. Sabrina Shaheed as Vice President – Community Development.

An honorable member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Asia Pacific and a seasoned banker. Having lost both parents to cancer, BANCAT is privileged to have Mr. Alamzeb Farjad Ahmed as the Vice President & Director – Finance.

One of the topmost marketing personas in Bangladesh, Ms. Mahzabin Ferdous is the Co-Founder of a sweetmeat venture, Daruchini, and a marketing agency, CThreeSixty along with serving as the Executive Director of CONCITO PR currently. Having lost both her parents to cancer, BANCAT is privileged to have Ms. Mahzabin as the General Secretary.

A seasoned banker with experience of 20 years, Mr. Zeeshan Hasib retired from the banking industry as Deputy Managing Director of one of the promising banks of the country. Currently, he is serving as a financial consultant, sharing his years of accumulated knowledge and expertise. Having lost his father to cancer, BANCAT is proud to have Mr. Hasib as the Treasurer & Director – Internal Audit.

An awe-inspiring lady with a decorated career. Ms. Rumana Ahmed is serving as the Head of Global Public Affairs at an MNC bank. Before the bank, Ms. Rumana served as the Head of Communications at GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Limited. BANCAT is privileged to have her as Trustee and Director-Communications.

Mr. Sajid Mahbub is a renowned branding and marketing professional in Bangladesh who is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Editor of Bangladesh Brand Forum, the Executive Director of IAA Bangladesh Chapter, the Marketing Director of Superbrands Bangladesh, and the Country Representative of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. BANCAT is privileged to have him as a Trustee & Director – Brand & Marketing.

A young enthusiast and prominent in the branding and marketing industry, Mr. Zoheb Ahmed has an illustrated career in serving organizations like Apex Group and Akij Group. Mr. Zoheb is currently serving as the Assistant General Manager, Brands at Meghna Group of Industries. BANCAT is honored to have him as Trustee and the Director – Logistics.

A beloved personality, Ms. Sohana Yusuf is a kind-hearted lady who’s always there to serve people in need. BANCAT is glad to have Ms. Sohana Yusuf as Trustee and the Director – Maa Bachao, Bachao Desh, a program of BANCAT.

An entrepreneur and Managing Director of Ejab Group, is an organizer and a socially active person. An important stakeholder of Gulshan Youth Club and a generous human being. BANCAT is lucky to have Mr. Eshtiaque Ahmed as Trustee and Director – Stakeholder Management.

A social entrepreneur who is well-known for his public speaking skills and vision, Mr. Najmus Ahmed Albab is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Valor of Bangladesh. He founded BANCAT after surviving cancer himself with the vision of ensuring cancer treatment even for the ones who can’t afford it and raising nationwide awareness against the disease to stop it from spreading. BANCAT is honored to have him with us as our Trustee and the Executive Director of Alok Nibash.

An Industrial Engineer and a young enthusiast with the main aim in life are to bring about solutions to problems in this world and age for a better future for all. He believes the best changes in this world will be made by people who look beyond the paradigms in our existing society. A follower of Mohandas Karamchand (Mahatma) Gandhi and being a son of a survivor, BANCAT is proud to have Mr. Tahdeeb as Trustee.
